What's included

Concrete scope, not "landscaping."

Every cleanup is quoted as a fixed written price for a defined list of work — here is what that list typically covers:

  • Leaves & debris clearedOff lawns, beds, walkways, patios and driveways — raked, blown, gathered and gone.
  • Garden beds weeded & cut backWeeds out by the root, spent growth cut back for the season, beds left clean and breathing.
  • Edges redefinedThe line between lawn and bed re-cut — the single cheapest thing that makes a property read "kept."
  • Small windfall & branchesStorm droppings and small branches gathered and removed — within safe, ground-level scope.
  • Bagged, loaded, hauled awayNothing left at the curb and nothing burned into your green bin allotment — the waste leaves with us.
  • Optional: mulch refreshThe beds are already weeded and edged — the perfect moment to top up bark or rock. See mulch installation.
Spring vs fall

Two seasons, two different jobs.

What each seasonal reset focuses on
Spring cleanup — Mar to MayWinter debris off everything, beds weeded before the growing season hands weeds the advantage, edges re-cut, and the property set up so summer maintenance stays light. The best window for a mulch refresh.
Fall cleanup — late Oct to DecLeaves off lawns and beds before they mat down over winter, spent growth cut back, drains and hard surfaces cleared. On heavy tree cover, two lighter passes can beat one big one.
After a stormWind rows of debris, small windfall and mess from a coastal blow — cleared in one visit within safe, ground-level scope.
Before a listing or eventThe same reset, on your timeline — the property brought to "kept" in one visit before photos, guests or an open house.
Real work

What a reset actually looks like.

From a Peninsula front garden we brought back — rooted weeds cleared, the bed cleaned and reset around the existing planting.

After the reset

Want it to stay this way?

A cleanup resets the property; grounds care keeps it there. A simple seasonal rhythm — beds, hedges and edges maintained through the growing season — means next spring's cleanup is a touch-up, not a rescue.

Questions, answered

The details, before you ask.

What is included in a yard cleanup?

The scope is fixed in your written quote, but a typical cleanup covers leaves and debris off lawns, beds and hard surfaces; beds weeded and spent growth cut back; edges redefined; small windfall branches cleared; and everything bagged, loaded and hauled away. An optional mulch refresh can be added while the beds are clean.

When should a spring cleanup happen?

On the coast, most properties are ready between March and May — once the worst of the winter rain has passed and beds are workable. Booking early matters more than the exact week; spring slots fill fast.

When should a fall cleanup happen?

Late October through early December, once most leaves are down. On properties with heavy tree cover, two lighter passes can beat one big one — we recommend what suits the property, not the invoice.

Do you haul everything away?

Yes. Leaves, clippings, weeds and debris leave with us — bagged, loaded and gone. We do not leave a pile of bags at your curb.

Can you add mulch during a cleanup?

Yes — a cleanup is the ideal time, because the beds are already weeded and edged. We scope the mulch refresh into the same written quote. Our mulch installation page covers what that includes.

Which areas do you serve?

The Peninsula communities of Metro Vancouver: South Surrey, White Rock, Ocean Park, Morgan Creek, Tsawwassen, Ladner and the wider Delta area.
